Located in a rural setting with spacious parking, The Evergreen Room is our free standing banquet hall. It is a  maintained facility with a large stage, dance floor, and ample parking.  The Evergreen Room has been serving private parties for 100 – 500 guests since 1976. We offer a variety of menus and are licensed for the sale of alcohol. Our professional, experienced staff are on duty to serve your guest.

FAQs

How do I reserve a date?

Room reservation is secured when $500 booking fee is received. Room dates are secured on a first come first served basis. Dates will not be held with receipt of the booking fee.

How much is room rental?

A room charge of $600 is applied for meal events. Room charge includes standard room set-up and use of dining tables for meal guests, room clean-up, use of table skirting, white table cloths and napkins, PA system for announcements, staffing and a four-hour room use allowance. (Bridal Policies will vary)

What is the capacity of THE EVEREGREEN ROOM?

We require a minimum of 100 guests. The room will seat up to 450 comfortably. In the event that more room is needed, we do have the capability to set tents on the side of the event hall in the lawn area.

What decorations can I use?

Birdseed, rice, confetti, sprinkles, glitter, cut-outs, sand, straw, hay, etc. or any decoration that is destructive to the establishment, are not permitted inside the building in any fashion. To avoid additional clean up charges, the customer should inquire about decorations if in doubt. Lighted candles have to be contained by jar or globe. Open candles are prohibited.

Banners and wall coverings may be used and must be hung with plastic head push pins. Use of staples, staple guns, and nails are not permitted in the room.

All wall coverings and any materials used in decorating must be removed and disposed of by the customer immediately after the event. Disposal of unusually large amounts of trash generated by decorations will be the responsibility of the customer.

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

The Pines Restaurants Inc. is fully licensed and insured to serve all types of alcoholic beverages. Decisions regarding any alcohol service need to be made 30 days in advance of the event so proper permits can be obtained from Indiana Excise Police. Decisions as to the types, amounts, and methods of serving alcohol may be made at a later time. Alcohol in any form on the property of The Pines Evergreen Room must be provided and dispensed by The Pines exclusively. Carry in alcohol in any form, in any amount, by any person is strictly illegal and will not be permitted in any fashion by The Pines. Carry in alcohol includes any bottles of champagne, wine, beer, or liquors that may be carried by any person inadvertently or on purpose onto our property. The Evergreen Room property includes all the grounds and parking lots surrounding the building.

The Pines is responsible for dispensing all alcoholic beverages in accordance with the laws of Indiana. The Pines cannot legally accommodate any requests by the customer that may be in violation of Indiana laws including dispensing to underage guests.

Any booking involving alcohol will be subject to a $100 fee for licensing, staffing and liability.
